FORUM and GUESTBOOK

THE GUESTBOOK:

We now have a guest book and I would appreciate it if you would sign it and leave any messages or comments you have. I simply would like to hear what you think of what you've seen and read here, any suggestions and perhaps a little about you.

THE FORUM:

We have had a very hard time with spammers, so we have worked out a system that eliminates that headache, and it is ultra simple.

Visitors can browse the forums and all the pictures in each without having to do anything but click their way through...no registrations or log ins.

For those that would like to add posts and pictures, here is the simple 2 step registration.

• 1: Send me an email and tell me your name, a little about your interest in Television, and, include your desired username and password.
  

• 2: I will register you and activate your access. When you receive the activation notice email, just log in with your user name and password to post.

A quick tutorial on how to upload pictures and files....

To up load a picture or a scanned item, first make sure it is either a .jpg or .gif file. If it is a bitmap, or picture embedded in an email, the forum software will not accept it, but changing the format is not difficult. Most people have Microsoft Paint as part of Windows and using that, you can transform most files to a .jpg or .gif simply by importing it into the Paint program and saving it as a .gif or .jpg file. Paint.net is an excellent, free program that works well too. I use it and you can get it here.

After that, put the item to upload in a file or place on your desktop that's easy to locate and at the bottom of the forum message window, use the "upload attachment tab" to browse your way to the picture you want to add, select it and add the comment or caption you want and then click ''add the file" and the picture should come up in the text message window.
